The soon start of school means it’s time to get ready for our Fall Ministries. Let’s get things started the weekend of Aug 23-25. All activities will take place at Council Grove Reservoir’s Richey Cove, Site S-1 (Shelter house & camp sites). Richey Cove is on the east side of the lake of Hwy 177. Here’s the weekend schedule –
Friday August 23
7:00 p.m. – Women’s Wilderness Walk & camp fire.
Saturday August 24
8:00 a.m. – Women’s Wilderness Walk, followed by breakfast in Council Grove.
5:00 p.m. – Youth Group Campout. Families are welcome to join us! Must bring your own tent or camper if the whole family is coming. Youth Group will provide meals.
Sunday August 25
10:30 a.m. – Worship at the Lake
11:45 a.m. – Picnic Lunch. Church will provide meat, table service, and drinks. Everyone else is asked to bring a side dish and/or dessert to share.
1:00 p.m. – Awana Enrollment & Lake Fun. Bring a swim suit, towel, beach toys, or hang out at the shelter and fellowship.
Campers: There are 8 concrete pads available with electricity. See Nicole if you want to use one. Whether you tent, drive in, or RV, you’re welcome the whole weekend!Need a Ride/Can Provide a Ride: Please mention your interest to Pastor Steve if you need a ride or can provide a ride.
